Izzies is one of those cute stores that has really shone through for me over the last few months. I'd been excited about this Fringe Top since I saw the WIP picture on Flickr a few days ago. I'd been admiring the style of Eliza Doolittle - the pop singer/songwriter not that character from Pygmalion ;) and this top is really reminiscent of her. It's so rare that I fatpack these days, but I really had to for this one.

Event tiredness and a week of not so much time in Second Life has led me to give up on trying to figure out what I've missed. So today I'm wearing some cute bits n bobs that I'd picked up lately or had landed in my box instead - Just because.

I was keen to get involved in blogging the items available at this rotation of the Fashionably Late event, since I was computerless for the last one. Not so much Fashionably late, as completely absent.

One of the guest designers this time around is Elly, a reasonably new brand that I've blogged a couple of times before. Elly Naire makes the most gorgeous girly items and this bandana top is no exception. I knew as soon as I saw it that I wanted to pair it with my fave bell bottomed jeans from Addict.

The rest of the look comes courtesy of hair from Shag for Fashionably Late, an Abbaesque style named Voulez-Vous. Without being too much of a suck up to Seb (can we save the firing until next week?), I wanted to mention that this pre-release style also features another new addition for Shag, a roots pack. Of course it's fabulous. I'm not biased at all.

Other bits and bobs here are staple favourites from my inventory. Necklace from Yummy, sunglasses from Miel and bag from Orta.

Oh, and although virtually unseen in these pics, I am wearing the new feet from Maitreya. Love them!

It's been a while huh?

Who knew that buying and using a brand spanking new and better specced PC was such a pain in the buttocks?!But now I think I'm finally back in action and excited to be able to take pictures in other viewers (Yay for Kirstens!)

Today, because I am so very far out of the bloggy loop, I've decided to blog some new releases that I like, rather than following The Seasons Hunt or one of the other, by now MUCH blogged events going on in SL.

I'm trying to step outside of my bloggy comfort zone at the moment and although todays redhead look isn't a huge leap of faith, it's still a bit of a change for me at least. I've some fun things planned for my next few blog posts though, and hopefully they'll turn out ok ^^

The Twinkle Night Bazaar event is still running, and so very worth a visit if you haven't yet done so. I'd originally popped in to pick up this cute top which is The Secret Store's addition to the event and ended up spending ALOT more than I'd planned. Isn't that always the way ;)

Just a one shot quickie today inspired by some late evening music and the desire to start posting regularly again, even if it's just a bit of nonsensical banter and what I'd been wearing that day.

Lace is so 'in' this summer, which makes me happy..no 'my Gran made this for me' excuses needed for wearing an old tablecloth in your cute girly looks with lace, puffed skirts and open toe heels and henceforth, this cute tee which is new from Aoharu shall be a part of my cuteness folder.

The necklace is also new, and from LaGyo's summer range that was released a couple of days ago.

I'm so incredibly lazy today that I only took one shot. For those that may be interested, I wore MStyle's Rivea pumps with this outfit, and you can grab those ->here<-

Shag for Hair Fair 2011

Anyone that knows me well in SL knows 2 things:

1 - They've rarely gotten to talk to me for the last few weeks, because since I started helping out at Shag I've been spending alot of time sitting in big piles of hair, separating, combing, brushing, counting, sorting and organising and,

2 - I love Audrey Hepburn and her movies almost more than life itself.

So with that in mind I'm SO excited to be able to blog Shag's girls releases for this years Hair Fair.

Shag's theme this year is 'Icons' and includes what can only be decribed as princess hair. She's named Ingenue and is available in 35 brand new colours as part of the new pallette and new textures that have been released at this years fair. Ingenue's tiara is also texture change. What's not to love about being able to prance around in SL dressed as a princess?!

The second style 'Bombshell' is a Marilyn Monroe-esque shorter shaggier (!) style, with a few more flexi's that you'll be used too from Shag. She looks supercute in darker colours too. I'm wearing both styles in 'velvet'.

Just a little mini-post today to show you two things I found supercute. The upcoming release from Leona Olivieri of Mamboo Chic skins, named Bell and this gorgeous off the shoulder sweater from Izzie's.

Each release of Leona's gets better and better and her store is well worth a visit...her skins are always adorable and her faces original.

The top from Izzie's suits my mood so well right now. I love that it manages to be slouchy and adorable at the same time and the sleeves and bottom prim are so beautifully done.

The Secret Store - Summer

...And finally The Secret Store's Summer releases are out!

Miss Maylee Oh is becoming a horrible tease with her adorable little snippets and WIP pictures on Flickr. I was so eager for this release and as always she doesn't disappoint.

Summer's collection features everything you expect from The Secret Store, and more. Bold confident colours and textures and easy to fit sculpted skirts, pants and jackets . A great mix of super girly, everyday casual wear and a sprinkling of retro, this time around.

What's also great about this summer's release is that Maylee has organised the collection instore, in a way that immediately sparks ideas for mixing and matching the pieces.

I've always loved TokiDoki - Maya's relaxed boho style, colour choices and flowery girly textures really appeal to me. I'm always happy to see new releases of hers because I know, without even looking, that I will love them and her latest are no exception.

I'm pairing these new pants from Toki Doki with a cute blouse from a new brand called 'Elly' that you might have seen all over the feeds and blogs the last couple of weeks. This vintage feel blouse is not only win for that reason, but also because it comes in this fabulous 'eggplant' shade, that's pretty much my fave colour.

Nothing else new today, apart from this cute satchel from Milk Motion, which is available at The Dressing Room Blue and the fact that I'm wearing the Taylor skin from League, which whilst it isn't a new release by any means is SO beautiful that I'm kicking myself that I didn't already have it in my inventory. If you've not tried anything pre Sia, then I'd really recommend it!

The bangles are a constant favourite, from Zaara and the wedges...well, chances are you fatpacked those long ago ;-)

CHIC Ltd's first birthday event is now open!

Happy Birthday CHIC Ltd!

This weekend see's the opening of CHIC Ltd's 1st birthday event. A whole host of my favourite designers are included and will have brand new and exclusive products available.

The event official opening is on June 4th at 4pm SLT (midnight GMT).

Today I'm featuring Nena Janus of League's item for the event, this beautiful Vintage Chiffon Dress. I'm wearing it in Moss with a matching belt (you can mix and match those), but there will be gorgeous hues of pink, purple and taupe aswell as black, available at the event too!

I'm not even sure I'm meant to be blogging this yet, but I was so excited once I'd tried the dresses on, that I just had too (don't spank me Miss Seerose :/ ok, maybe just a little bit)

I'm also wearing another new release today - these delicate vintage feel sandals named Misha from LeLutka. They're available in a whole host of colours and both solid and collage straps.

The last weeks seems to have passed me by. I've missed a ton of great blogging opportunities, but no panic, I did manage to get ahold of all the gorgeous shoes I'd been hankering after at the fair...I just didn't get time to blog them! This skin is new from Apple May Designs and is named Teegan. I'm wearing the Peach tone here, which is about in the middle of the spectrum available. I own a couple of Apple May skins, but this is my favourite so far...each one seems to get better than the last.

Emery is a store whose designs I often wear, and the new releases today are no exception. This cute crop top is part of a selection and there are some skirts and vests to be had, too!

Tap, tap, tap....is this thing on?! It seems blogspot's been having some issues today ;-) But I guess it is Friday the 13th!

Pictured above are some gorgeous creations that all seemed to belong together, and I am loving them all.

It's safe to say none of these designers EVER fail...though, the Ryn jumpsuit here, is limited edition for Culture Shock from Kyoot, so be sure to go and grab it before the event ends on the 22nd May! It's available in a collection of gorgeous patterns, from this sequin glam version, to paisely, flowery and leather.

I'm also wearing one of the new skins from Tres Blah, at the Skin and Shape expo which is still going on! I feel a little strange right now, because I've been alternating between this cute skin and Layla from Glam Affair, which gives an entirely different look!

The hair is a new group gift out today from Lamb - everyone seems to be going in the roots direction, and this one's no exception.

I wasn't really going to blog today, but I took another trip to Culture Shock and picked up some goodies that the laggy treacle walk had prevented me from getting near thus far.

Soooo....Grixdale, Orta and Atomic with some other inventory classics mixed in!

I'm also using more cute poses from synt today. Tart and ScarlettLily have already increased the size of their store to accomodate all the goodies they're producing! Well worth a look, if you're like me and constantly on the hunt for new poses, although the store also has other things too!

I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying wearing Gaia, the new release from Hart Larsson of PXL. The customization of the skin only adds to it's appeal. For a girl who loves messing with eyemakeups, but keeping the lips neutral, this way of adding each makeup on a seperate tattoo layer is godly!!

I'm wearing some of the new collection from Mon Tissu today too, which needless to say is cute and totally flawless!!

I'm honoured once again to be blogging for Miss Maylee Oh of The Secret Store. This time around, it's her releases for Culture Shock which starts on May 1st!

I'm so happy that Maylee decided to release new versions of her Eglantine Jacket that she teased us with as her prize for The Seasons Hunt - Spring. She also releases these Popsicle dresses in both sleeved and sleeveless versions! As usual the choice of textures is wonderful...both sophisticated and cute, at the same time. All sculpted parts have resizers too, so you can get the perfect fit, even down to jacket shoulderpads.

One more thing to mention today - there's a new fashion feed on the grid - Style Academy, and I'm honoured to have been invited! You can check out the new feed here!!

This fabulous period lace gown created by Faint Paulse of Ladies who Lunch. It includes 4 sash and button colors: Milk, Black, Rose, and Tea. The gown will be available in all four of those colors, each with all of the sash and button combos.

Omgosh so much good stuff at the moment! Culture Shock is just a few days away now, and this cute little dress (which is actually a top) from Paper Doll, is part of it! It feels like there's a gazillion things going on in SL right now...definately masses of bargains, and gifts to be found. So, today I've tried to combine a mixture of all the goodies that are available.

Firstly there's The Seasons Hunt - Spring of which the jacket and bag featured in this post are gifts from. You can check the Seasons Hunt blog here for a full list of the stores taking part, so you can just TP around and look for those pesky little bee's! I've heard too, that a handful of the stores are moving their hunt bee's around too, just to make it that bit trickier!!

I've been a lurker of Leona Olivieri's Flickr stream for quite some time, but never quite managed to make it to her store Mamboo Chic, until today when her newest skin 'Olivie' was released. I'm spring flinging today! The sun is shining and there's bunnies and kittens and cute shit everywhere. I even skipped through a field of flowers...I think I wore too much black yesterday!

So, I've been meaning to blog the Pacific coat/jacket from Peqe for a while and I always knew I'd chose this Flora pattern because I'm such a fan of the vintage feeling fabrics. I'm also wearing the new Mia Wedges from Slink, their new styles in store now are all totally kick ass. Wedges seem a big deal this spring season too!

LaGyo's new accessory range was also just released, and this fabulous oversized tote bag is part of it...I love that Gyo caters for the sublime and the everyday taste in her collections.

So, I'll admit....Reek isn't the first place I think of when I want to go shoe shopping, and although the Papercut Cardigan and Autumn boots are a staple part of my Sunday chillaxin' outfit, I still mainly think of Reek when I want to buy someone a birthday pressie, or just generally harass them with cute funky gift (Dinosaur Pyjamas for the win!!). But, what a big mistake on my part...

Today I'm featuring the newest footwear release from Reek, these F-awesome (yeah, thats not a real word) Boston Boots! The boots are totally customisable, via a HUD in which you can change any part of the boot (leather/rubber colour, tongue, laces, eyelets, socks...). They can also be worn with or without socks. If you're super speedy you might even still be able to grab the Navy blue version of these boots which were included in the 50L Friday list this week! A total bargain! Or just grab the fatpack and give yourself a metric gazillion choices of boot, via one HUD :o

I should also mention, that all the background furniture/pose prop I am using is from Awesome Blossom, who also have a 'Spruce up your Space' event offer on at the moment in the form of a cute lil house, which I am going to try and blog in the next couple of days.

There are some real steals in the 50L Friday list this week! Well worth checking out, even if you usually don't bother. I'm always excited when certain stores appear on the list, and this week has really come up trumps, with Kyoot being top of my personal list, but also f-awesome items from Reek (omgboots), and Tiny Bird (cute Romper in 2 colour choices) being a couple of the others.

I'm not usually one for showing my midriff in SL because I don't in RL, which it occured to me is kinda ridiculous. SL is the perfect place to let it all hang out, right?! Ok, well maybe not -all-, at least not on the blog :-D

Quick pic today, because a couple of new ventures are keeping me busy. But hopefully, some exciting new things to come in the next week or so, to keep my blog addiction going.

Today I just had to blog about these super cute shorts from a brand that I discovered recently thanks to the dear Loli and Paris after they featured some tights from this brand on their blog. Whats total win about these shorts is not only the cute flowery spring like pattern but they're also high waisted.

Jolie has a marketplace store choc-full of vintage goodness, at great prices! I'd really recommend a visit and I absolutely intend to blog more of Kaetel's fabulous designs in the near future!

...If The Secret Store don't stop releasing new cuteness that I heart so hard, that I must blog it, then I'm going to have to change the name of my blog ><

I asked Maylee earlier if she'd named her new Frou Frou skirts after one of my favourite bands, but of course Frou Frou also means 'Ruffle' in the French language, so it turns out I was completely wrong! Duh.

Anyhoo...these cute ruffley skirts have given me a chance to blog some other items I've had in my inventory and wear often, but have never blogged. Namely the Loire knit shrug from Mon Tissu and this beautiful jewellery from Je Suis, which is colour change and can be textured to fit with almost anything.

Some more newness today, with these shoes from Vive9's Spring release, and yet more new hairstyles from Elikatira.

I am the slackest slackster blogger today :-) I took this picture yesterday, then the new League skin was released, so I've just spent the day staring at myself in the demo <3

Anyhoo, down to business....tomorrow (19th March) sees the start of the Albero Kawaii Hunt, which runs until 2nd April.

This adorable Dandelion pose prop is just one of the prizes that will be available to avid hunt fans who take part! It's named Dandy and is made by Milli Santos of No Strings Attached!

The Pacific Crisis Fundraiser event is now open! Today I am wearing Glam Affair's contribution to the event (other than the land the event is hosted on)...this gorgeous Sakura Skin. The Cute plushie in this picture, is also from the event courtesy of MiaMai, and has a hug pose inbuilt, even though I am not using it here.

Get your linden wallets out and visit the sim, to bag yourself some special goodies of which the proceeds will go to the American Red Cross, or simply to donate at the boxes at the landing point!

Lookin' for a complication...

Today I'm featuring some items from a new brand, namely Fleshtone. The brand is a joint venture from Gisele Mubble of Lurani and Stevenzuuh Gossipgirl, of House of Fox, a killer collaboration. Roll on Summer...or even Spring! I'm shivvering, even looking at the pixel-me wearing shorts and a chiffon blouse, but the new Blair Shirt from Label Mode is just tooooo darn cute to resist :-)

Ugh, so I take a few days away and Mon Tissu release cute Blazers, skirts, tee's...shoes....ohmagah!! I've been having a real Blazer stage in SL lately though (see last post for proof!) so this release is DEFO a fatpack situation!!

Today I am wearing the beautiful Zoe skin from Tuli which will be available at the skn fair. I am wearing the sunkissed tone, and I have to say..not being a veteran Tuli wearer I was amazed at the sheer number of options for bases, makeups, lipsticks tattoo layers, and even eyebrow tones in each pack.

I should add that I was haenously corrupted and seduced into buying more skins, by my dear and talented fellow blogger Miss Paris Honi of Double Trouble, so I definately have more to keep me busy over the coming days

The new hair from Maitreya is flawless as always. This Nadja cut so suits my mood right now, cute and slightly bohemian. ANOTHER perfect bag from House of Fox, more additions to the new range at Emery, AND these Omgwtfawesome 'Dangerously Studded Heels' from Bellballs...a total bargain too! I think I bought 3/4 pairs. I should have taken a closeup so you can see how awesome the heels are...epic fail!!

I'm so excited today to be blogging once again, for The Secret Store. Today see's the launch of the Euphoria malls 'The Cellar' event. I've been busting a gut since this time yesterday when I was priviledged to get a first look at Maylee's dresses, and get some pictures ready to show you on release today! So here they are...

Boheme, with their gorgeously luxurious folds of fabric, and 3 fabulous choices from funky, blocky patterns and lime green to cute flowery, and pink! *skips through a country garden*. As usual the resize scripts in each part of the dress are perfect...I didn't have a problem getting a perfect fit at all.

Is there anything else in SL that makes a girls butt look quite as good as a pair of NORA jeans? :-) A couple of weeks ago, I got in touch with Kianna Noel, asking if she was able to please please sell a poor girl a pair of the unavailable, not currently out for sale jeans, and she informed me she'd be putting the very same jeans for sale in her store, Addict, the very next day. I was overjoyed...and so was my butt! Hurrah!!

There's something a little bit Audrey Hepburn about todays look. I SO love it when a cute short cut is released - Elikatira just cannot put a foot wrong!!

I'm not so great at edgy looks - but I love to give it a go now and then :-)

I am so in love with these studded high waisted denim shorts from Emery! I've been wearing the Harem pants and bodysuit in world, but decided to blog the shorts today.

There's also this great 'Stella' clutch which is to be released shortly, from House of Fox. I love that it's so slimline and sleek looking.

Vive9 also released the first 3 styles in their new hair salon today - I thought I'd be good and choose my favourite of the 3, to buy....guess what? I failed, and came home with all 3 styles. It's a shock I didn't fatpack.

Whew, a whole ton of credits today, and all built around a cute pair of legwarmers. I've so many layered things on I felt like a yeti :-D Suffice to say, you can almost feel the warmth of the cute new legwarmers from Kyoot - and they seem to go with, well...everything.

I really wanted to fit in this purse from Septem too, it's been hanging around in my inventory for a couple of days, screaming cuteness at me.

There's something so beautifully romantic about this Pretty White Dress dress from Saeya Nyanda of Kyoot. It's not even that it's pure crisp white either, the folds of fabric are so pretty, and the bustier with it's subtle patterned fabric. I feel like I'm about to be sacrificed in a pagan ritual, or something :-)

I've kept it simple, because the dress is so beautiful by itself, so I've just teamed it with this lovely slightly freeflowing haircut from Maitreya and this gorgeous leaf necklace from Nha!

Some bargains today! This great jacket comes in a set from Izumiya that costs 25L$ for a complete outfit!! 50L shorts from Jane and this fab satchel which is currently free (in this colour only) as part of the introduction of the range, from House of Fox!! All worth checking out :-)

I'm still wearing the Gos Curvaceous boots, along with a couple of items from stores that are new to me. This cute little 'Geek is the new chic' tee is from a new store called Respect! and comes in two different lengths (this is the short one). The hair plus hat is from ++Ay.Line++. I'm really into hats and this store has loads of hair plus hat combos at really reasonable prices (Although I really wish the packs were bigger than just 2 colours!)

Sometimes I think that because I do location shots for the blog, the locations get a little ignored, because I'm staring at shoes, or some fabulous jacket or hat...or focussing on getting a shadow in the right position.

So, I thought I'd change things up a bit, by doing what might turn out to be a series of posts on the locations I use for my blog. Some kindly folks, in my comments here on the blog and on Flickr have mentioned locations or asked about them recently, and I admit it'll be nice to have a little break from styling once a week or something, so I can just sit around in my underpants drinking tea and eating chocolate hobnobs :-)

I started with this location - The Mother Road, because I love it and it deserves tribute for offering a multitude of options for style and photo's in one place. I heart it bigtime!!

As a sidenote, all of the shots are raw snapshots, with just a border added, except the car picture to which I added some headlight glow. I've used a sunset windlight setting and had SL shadows enabled.

If I were to be run over by a bus today, I'd die happy because I have worn and loved the new Curvaceous boots from GoS by Gospel Voom. There are -so- many things about these boots that make them perfect, yes really... and I'm not even bum licking because I got a review copy (I didn't). They really are that good, that I was almost having palpitations when I TP'd into the store.

The boots come in a big range of colours and really aren't that expensive at 695L$, but what I love is that if you want to wear another colour you don't have to purchase a new pair...you just spend 300L$ on a "polish".The boots also come with 3 heel options built in. I'm wearing the wedge heel in these pictures, but there is also a stiletto and chunky heel. Everything has been thought of!

I think these boots are so obviously sexy, that I decided to dress them down with this casual Sunday look with some of my favourite items, including the fab Yulia Blazer from Modd.G and this cute paperboy hat from Maitreya.

So much news that I almost neglected to mention another exciting event...the opening of 'Kozmetika'...a store dedicated to tattoo makeups and includes - CheLLe, Cheap Makeup, Mozz, and Booms own new makeup brand which I am wearing some eyeliner from, here (except my picture fails a bit) =D

Newness from Dutch Touch, Lamb, The Seasons Hunt, Addict and Mandala today!!

I had to offset the sheer amount of lindens I spent on this gorgeous new skin, by finding bargains elsewhere (shakes pixellated fist at Iki Ikarus <33). So I am wearing this cute blouse which was 30L$ at Ribbon and this GREAT bag which was only 120L$ from BareRose. Yesterday, I was wandering around some possible photo sites, wondering what the heck I was going to blog.I was lacking in inspiration and in a bit of a funk. Standing at the landing point of the Kaso sim, pondering lifes annoyances...when Sora Ashbourne literally fell from the sky and ontop of me :D So thanks Sora, for providing today's outfits inspiration with this fab new jacket from Sweetest Goodbye - Mwah!!

Some days, no matter how long I spend standing in a static pose, messing with sliders, my pictures just don't turn out quite as I'd hoped. However, I am loving some of the pieces I am wearing today, so you're gonna have to suffer my shiney forhead nonetheless ^^

New Kyoot eyemakeups make me happy!! As do these fabulous shoes from Peqe, which I am trying to stop myself buying in every colour (I'll probably fail on that one)

My dear friend Delusional also posted a little challenge of sorts, on her blog yesterday. She asked the question "Who is your fashion inspiration?" so I couldn't let the moment pass without mentioning a few of my favourite bloggers.

Carolina Sautereau's Blog and Nana Minuet's Blog are the blogs that inspired me to start blogging myself...their style, and photography are stunning and I constantly find myself thinking "Wow, why didn't I think of that?"

I should also mention Estrella Thespian and Estella Magic, and Demi and Poppy's blogs. All these girls have a style I am jealous of...I generally hang around outside their houses, hoping I can sneak in and steal their wardrobes and fashion sense. I don't let a day pass without reading and drooling over all these blogs!

New year pressies from Maylee! Yay! I'm always so excited when I see newness from The Secret Store, because I know I will love it. This 'Les Bleuets' jacket, which comes in 4 colour combinations, is no excception. I love that Maylee teased us mercilessly by posting even her initial sketches for this, on her Flickr stream.

I've teamed it simply, with my current favourite jeans from Mon Tissu, and these cute flats which are reasonably new and from [e] Elikatira.

As my poor flu stricken guy is laying in a little heap by the fire, I guess I found time to post today after all!

I was thrilled to log in today, to bountiful goodies in my mail. The new collection at Ricielli is of course released, and I am honoured that my little blog somehow managed to earn itself the right to feature some of the amazing newness in store.

Aaaaaaargh! Not blogging for a week is both a blessing and a curse - think I might've heard that in a movie once ;-) As joyous as it is to return to a plethora of shopping opportunities, I also feel like I am swimming in a sea of new cool things to blog, and can't keep up!

My last blog before Christmas and new year!

Newness from Vive9 today. I'm so totally in love with this new skin, she has such a natural beauty 'Kate Moss' look about her and I soooo love how she looks with this fabulous new haircut from Exile.

The rest of the outfit, was a wonderful find from Gigi Couture. I was wandering around the cupcake sim and realised I hadn't been to Gigi in a while. So glad I did!

The poses I've used today are new from Marukin and named 'Buttermilk'. I adore Val's poses and they are SUCH a bargain too!

I've decided the LeLutka team are trying to kill me, before Christmas arrives. I was this <--> close to having a cardiac after this weeks hair releases and now we have new apparel too!

Soooo, I've been playing around with windlight settings and I fell in love with this foggy one. I wasn't intending to use it for blog pictures, but I just couldn't help myself when I saw the results. I guess I'm feeling wintery :)

It's no secret by now that I am a big fan of Maylee Oh's 'The Secret Store'. Maylee has 3 complete outfits in the current Modavia Pop Art show, so today I thought I'd take some parts of those and dress them down for everyday wear. I love the jacket from the 'Wild Pop Lady' ensemble teamed with these great skinny jeans from store of the moment, Mon Tissu.
