Winter Song

Chloe Platini of Bebe Doll is back with a new range for the Autumn/Winter season, featuring cute knitwear, and fabulously textured tops and dresses that she's famous for!!

Today I'm delighted to feature this ultra cute 'Hazel Sweater' from her new range, which comes in a grand total of 12 colours from pastel to bold. The sweater can be worn with or without the flower detail and has the most gorgeous prim attachment cuffs, which are forsaken here in favour of the mittens I have on. I am sure I will be featuring more of Chloe's new range over the coming days.

I'm wearing it with these cute Callia Soft Earmuffs and Mittens which are Modd.G's Contribution to the Albero Gatcha Festival event that started yesterday :) I'm so gutted that I stood there for 20 minutes until I got a matching pair, right before receiving review copies :D Grrrrr.

It's 2 degrees here in England today, and that coupled with these pictures gives me a real winter feeling, so I've added my favourite winter song below :) I'm going to make hot chocolate now!!

Me and Mrs Jones' Jacket

A new release from Maylee Oh of The Secret Store today! This fabulous 'Mrs Jones' Jacket' is reminiscent of those jackets with the shoulder pads we all wore in the 80s, but with a modern twist. The quality of the textures in her creations never fail to amaze me. The jacket comes in 4 colours, coffee, carbon, orchid and olive.

I've teamed it with some trusy Maitreya shoes, these leggings from LeLutka which are part of their Autumn collection, and this great gold jewellery from DeLa. A store I often neglect when blogging, but love so much!! I've had these earrings and bangles forever so it's great to have finally managed to blog them :)

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all..

In my daily trawl of all my favourite blogs, I always remember to keep an eye on Berry's Blogger Challenges on StrawberrySingh.com. This weeks Berry's challenge is to answer the question "What do you believe in?" and it's high time I joined in, so here goes:

I had a reasonably strict upbringing, in the "little girls should be seen and not heard" sense. Although that's something I've spent pretty much everyday since I left home disproving, there are some things about my upbringing that stick with me, that I believe in and ~try~ and live by.

My mother always said "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" and I believe that as a rule of thumb, to be true.

Don't get me wrong, there are days when I simply cannot bite my tongue, and I am sooo far from perfect. But, as a participant in one sort of online community or another for about the last 5/6 years I have observed and learned that it can be so easy to hide behind the anonymity that is a part of online communication, and let your sarcastic 'oneupmanship' side, takeover. I have always tried hard, not to be that person. It's too easy to attempt to massage your own ego by forcing knowledge, or sometimes just plain assumption upon others.

So, I believe that 'If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all'.

Colours seem to fade...

A cute look today...what else?! =) I'm still finding new ways to wear the new Lamb hairstyles....going blonde being one of them! This cute jumpsuit from ToKiid, has been in my 'to blog' folder for a week or so, and it's definately now layering season. Those two things equal todays look. The jumpsuit comes with a chest attachment which also houses a belt, that I decided not to wear, so I could layer over this cardigan from Reek instead. I really like the result!!

Ps - Darn you Moddishh (if you read this), I can't stop listening to Amos Lee now!!! /grumble. So the title belongs to you :)

My first skin from Mother Goose's! I'm sure every skin whore out there now has at least one skin from this fabulous store, but I wasn't one of them until yesterday, and now I am wondering why not!! I love that each makeup option has both an open and closed mouth choice.

Newness from Boom today too =) I am soooo loving these Fall Courd Shorts - what's great is that there are different leg options from skinny to baggy. This is a surefire fatpack bet for me, because there are so many ways to wear these. They go so well with the Autumn knits at SMS too.
