Busy Days

Don't you sometimes have those days where life just speeds by you? I'm having a few days like that in SL lately...

Today's look is what I've been wearing in SL for 2 days now. Mostly because I've been so busy with Gee trying to get the photography studio set up, and there was a weekend in there somewhere too! It's all very exciting!!

I wanted a look for SL that signifed that. So I teamed up my favourite jeans from Emery, with my favourite tank and scarf from De-La, the cute 'Nimue' hair from Maitreya, and the wonderful jacket from Ricelli that the world and her mother's blogged by now.

My oh MiaMai!

Today I'm blogging new releases from MiaMai and having fun taking shots using the 'SciFi' tunnel poses from Glitterati, which is included in their annual 100L sale.

I'm a big fan of flares and the feminine shape of these ones from MiaMai is fantastic. The sheerness and quality of the top, right down to the tinyest detail on the shoulders is amazing! Both come in lots of colour options - so you're spoiled for choice. I teamed it up with some bangles from Mandala and hair from Waka and Yuki and I was set to go!

Life is a Circus

I decided to take part of the Project Themeory hunt this week. As you can see, the theme was 'Circus'. There were some really fun items to be had including these dresses from Mijnt which also comes in Black and White options and this great Peirrot outfit from Lucy in Disguise, and poses from Don't Freak Out! Total bargains for 75L a piece!!

New LeeZu!

I am absolutely in love with the new Boho Bikini from LeeZu! It comes in 4 colour options and can be worn many different ways. With the Sarong, and with or without the flowers on the top half. Like everything from LeeZu it's absolutely beautifully detailed and crafted, it absolutely screams summer!!

I don't often wear nails either, but I really love these flower garden themed ones from Candy Nail - especially since they have rings added. The hair is a new release at Hair Solutions 'Regina'. Rest of the credits, below!

Lazing on a Sunny Afternoon...

The hot weather continues here in England, so when I logged in this morning to read about the new 'Susie Cateye Shades' from Elate I headed right over to check them out! I really love the shape, and since I almost never wear green, I decided to challenge myself.

Summer Saturday

Today saw the start of Tableau's Summer Sunrise Festival, so I took a trip there early this morning to see what was on offer. There are some fabulous 1L items to get you into the spirit of the Festival including a Summer mask, flag and rideable Ladybug!!

I think I've been listening to the new Dizzee Rascal song too much..and it -is- Friday after all!

Yay - I'm a Blogger?!

So, my first attempt at a proper blog post today and I’m craving Starbucks, can you tell?!

I decided to take a trip in SL to find an outfit that would reflect my mood, and this is the result. I don’t dress casually that often as I’m usually shaking my tail feather at Ambrosia Dance Club. But I found a store called *X*plosion this week, and there are some pieces from there that I absolutely love, including the pants I’m wearing here and the hair, with colour changable hat!

This wonderful summery shirt is from Cynful. I am loving the lace detail on the back and the exact right amount of cleavage showing on the front. I love that both the pants and shirt both have options to change the colour of the lace, even though they’re from different designers. Don’t you just love it when that happens!

The much blogged City Wedges from Kookie complimented it all really well…
