About 2hrs ago Maitreya released this fabulous new Moxie shoe! The shoes come with ankle and over the knee socks, in a whole ton of colour options, and even with or without the little strappy part around the top of the over knee sock!

One Eleven, New Maitreya shoes and new LeLutka skin in the same weekend = very very poor Dai :D I'll be wearing these babies until Christmas!!!

One Eleven

So, unless you've been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you'll know that 1.11pm yesterday saw the opening of the exclusive One Eleven event. 45 Designers with exclusive event only items, and only 111 copies of each!

After 2hrs of trying to TP into the sim I gave up :P But as luck would have it, first try this morning came good, so here's some of my haul. Lucky my Avi doesnt eat, because it'd be a lean couple of months otherwise! :D

I am wearing Glam Affair's addition - this OMGWTFAMAZING skin called Nina, that I am definately not taking off for a while. Plus jewells from LaGyo and hair from !Lamb.

<3 this new scarf from LaGyo which is one of a range released today. I love how it looks fluffy and cozy. If you stare at it long enough, it freaks out the eyes and I start to feel a bit high. An added bonus I guess =D

I'm sporting one of the two new skins from Curio today. This is 'Yum' which frankly, is exactly that. Anyone who pervs my Flickr will have seen an extra picture of it there.

I hadn't bought much hair from Truth for a while - and there's been so much new fab hair released this Autumn and Winter. I am in love with this 'Francesca' style though. It has a ton of great options for wear, and the soft curls and way it frames the shoulders is to die for!

Everything else is gathered from my inventory - one of my fave cardi's from Concrete Flowers, a great dress from Emery, and this belt from Indyra Originals which I've had -forever- and was a real revelation to rediscover! Gotta love typing something random into your inventory and finding something you forgot or never knew you owned!

Some simple shots today. Blarg, forgive the lack of blogs, especially in the midst of such SL gorgeousness. It's been a rough few days IRL...I'll be back to full bloggy speed soon!

I intend to give the gorgeous new LeLutka skin featured here, much more 'air time' this week. It's perfect in every way and a sheer delight to picture. I must admit, when I first tried on the demo, I wasn't sure, but after realising I'd stared at it, and particularly at the gorgeous eyebrows for a good 15 minutes I was in love. Everything about this skin screams quality and beauty. Even her nostrils are perfect, for goodness sakes :D

Rabbit heart

I've been trying to blog this look for 2 days now. I just couldn't get anything right, location, pose, shadows, blarg :D You know sometimes, things just don't go to plan...However, delaying it a little did mean that I got to include this hair style which is one of the two new cuts from Elikatira, and the new release from Dutch Touch....version2 of Jolie, with all new nose, body and a whole ton of tattoo layer hairbase and lipstick options. I also love the freckle and beauty mark layer too.

I'm also wearing the IRMA shirt from LeLutka, a new release that has been widely blogged, but I'm so in love with that I'm joining the crew. I pushed the boat out and opted for green though, a colour I don't often chose :)

Winter Song

Chloe Platini of Bebe Doll is back with a new range for the Autumn/Winter season, featuring cute knitwear, and fabulously textured tops and dresses that she's famous for!!

Today I'm delighted to feature this ultra cute 'Hazel Sweater' from her new range, which comes in a grand total of 12 colours from pastel to bold. The sweater can be worn with or without the flower detail and has the most gorgeous prim attachment cuffs, which are forsaken here in favour of the mittens I have on. I am sure I will be featuring more of Chloe's new range over the coming days.

I'm wearing it with these cute Callia Soft Earmuffs and Mittens which are Modd.G's Contribution to the Albero Gatcha Festival event that started yesterday :) I'm so gutted that I stood there for 20 minutes until I got a matching pair, right before receiving review copies :D Grrrrr.

It's 2 degrees here in England today, and that coupled with these pictures gives me a real winter feeling, so I've added my favourite winter song below :) I'm going to make hot chocolate now!!

Me and Mrs Jones' Jacket

A new release from Maylee Oh of The Secret Store today! This fabulous 'Mrs Jones' Jacket' is reminiscent of those jackets with the shoulder pads we all wore in the 80s, but with a modern twist. The quality of the textures in her creations never fail to amaze me. The jacket comes in 4 colours, coffee, carbon, orchid and olive.

I've teamed it with some trusy Maitreya shoes, these leggings from LeLutka which are part of their Autumn collection, and this great gold jewellery from DeLa. A store I often neglect when blogging, but love so much!! I've had these earrings and bangles forever so it's great to have finally managed to blog them :)

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all..

In my daily trawl of all my favourite blogs, I always remember to keep an eye on Berry's Blogger Challenges on StrawberrySingh.com. This weeks Berry's challenge is to answer the question "What do you believe in?" and it's high time I joined in, so here goes:

I had a reasonably strict upbringing, in the "little girls should be seen and not heard" sense. Although that's something I've spent pretty much everyday since I left home disproving, there are some things about my upbringing that stick with me, that I believe in and ~try~ and live by.

My mother always said "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" and I believe that as a rule of thumb, to be true.

Don't get me wrong, there are days when I simply cannot bite my tongue, and I am sooo far from perfect. But, as a participant in one sort of online community or another for about the last 5/6 years I have observed and learned that it can be so easy to hide behind the anonymity that is a part of online communication, and let your sarcastic 'oneupmanship' side, takeover. I have always tried hard, not to be that person. It's too easy to attempt to massage your own ego by forcing knowledge, or sometimes just plain assumption upon others.

So, I believe that 'If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all'.

Colours seem to fade...

A cute look today...what else?! =) I'm still finding new ways to wear the new Lamb hairstyles....going blonde being one of them! This cute jumpsuit from ToKiid, has been in my 'to blog' folder for a week or so, and it's definately now layering season. Those two things equal todays look. The jumpsuit comes with a chest attachment which also houses a belt, that I decided not to wear, so I could layer over this cardigan from Reek instead. I really like the result!!

My first skin from Mother Goose's! I'm sure every skin whore out there now has at least one skin from this fabulous store, but I wasn't one of them until yesterday, and now I am wondering why not!! I love that each makeup option has both an open and closed mouth choice.

Newness from Boom today too =) I am soooo loving these Fall Courd Shorts - what's great is that there are different leg options from skinny to baggy. This is a surefire fatpack bet for me, because there are so many ways to wear these. They go so well with the Autumn knits at SMS too.

Let me start today by saying, I kinda fail at blogging skins ;) I just can't bring myself to do all those white background line up things, that those with more patience than I, do. I'm so bowled over by all the new things popping up left right and centre, at the moment. Autumn seems to have inspired everyone...I feel a little inundated by all the fab items to blog. New things today from the lovely Aurora Tremont of AuTre. I love this dress and her designs keep getting better and better, always offering something a little different. AuTre prices are also a bit of a bargain too!

New LeLutka hair was released a week or two ago, and as a big fan of cuts with fringes, I was instantly drawn to this 'Cleo' style. That I am assuming is named and styled as a Cleopatra tribute of sorts.

The skin I am wearing today is from MonS. I was already familiar with the jewellery from this brand, but had never tried on their skins but having decided this week to enter their photo competition (it was about time I was brave enough to enter something!)I tried on some skins. I was so stunned by them all, that I bought...well lets say, more than one ;)

I'm also in love with anything new from Tram - this beautiful chiffon ribbon necklace included....whew!!
